Sing For Courage

12 hour live music festival in aid of
The Tanya’s Courage Trust
(supporting young people in Cornwall and The Isles of Scilly with Cancer)

The event will be taking place in Cornwall, Par, near St Austell
in the field behind The Britannia Inn (also called the Brit).

Tickets are £10.00 per person in advance and £13.00 on the gate. This will give you access to the event for the entire day (11am to 11pm), But there are only a limited amount of tickets available, so reserve your ticket now to avoid disappointment.

Parking will be available which costs £4 in advance or £10 on the day.
The car park opens at 10.30am, the gates open at Midday,
the performances start at 1.30pm and the event finishes at 11.00pm.

Idol 2008 Talent Competition

Auditions are starting in August for the biggest
Nationwide talent competition outside that certain ITV show.

You are invited to enter Idol 2008; the talent competition for both singers and dancers to enter. The competition offers the competitors the opportunity to perform live in front of large audiences as well as the chance to win up to £25,000 in prizes.

Register, audition and compete and you will be offered fantastic opportunities to not only develop performance skills and personal ability, but to expose your talent. The latter stages of the competition provide competitors with the opportunity to impress the judges and many guests from record labels, agencies and the entertainment industry.

2007 was the competitions third year, growing from a regional competition for the South coast into a national competition, with over 10,000 applicants entering. This makes the competition the largest talent contest outside a certain ITV show. The 2007 competition was broadcasted on ITV.

The competition has two age categories; Under 18 and 18 and over. Both singers and (for the first time) dancers are invited to enter Idol 2008, these are two separate categories within the overall competition. Competitors in both categories will be given the opportunity to progress to the Live shows, National final and compete to be Idol 2008.
